Fantasy League – week six. Boucher in the hunt.

Another week another ton of fantasy points (if not runs) from Mr. Benneyworth meant that all who have him as skip picked up a good haul again. One can’t help thinking that it was only Cirencester’s poor batting in posting 121 to chase that denied Luke a third consecutive century.

Despite still being top of the pile, Benney’s “5 off them…” bagged only the 6th biggest total of the week. That accolade was taken by Bouch’s “Hunters” with a hefty 636, closely followed by Mikey Dee’s “Mystic Oz” on 617. Veteran Paul Frape’s “Sneezers Calf’s” (no, me neither) was third with 539.

There were some unusual points gatherers this week. Aside from Bones’ 110 points and Sukesh “Berserker” Koshy’s 82, Cal Rainey bagged a superb 82 in the 4th’s defeat of Chalford. Fred Barlow’s four wicket haul gave him 75 and Lazers identical achievement got him 63.

MVPs? Well it’s still you-know-who (626) miles ahead at the top with only Louis (398), Danners (359) and Sukesh (315) providing company.

Gonnae be a scorcher this Saturday. Who’s going to flourish and who will wilt? Get those transfers in!
